F.A.Q.

1. Why choose Femi.Eko® organic cotton panty liners instead of regular ones?
Femi.Eko® panty liners are designed for everyday comfort and made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. They contain no plastic, perfumes, or harmful chemicals. While regular panty liners can irritate the intimate area and may contain microplastics or synthetic gels, Femi.Eko® ensures the safety of your intimate health and cares for the environment.

2. What are Femi.Eko® panty liners made of?
The top and inner layers are made from GOTS certified organic cotton – gentle on the skin and pesticide-free. They are free from chlorine, perfumes, or synthetic dyes – and most importantly: plastic-free. We use plant-based biopolymers for water resistance. The packaging is 100% cardboard, without plastic inserts – biodegradable and compostable.

3. Who are Femi.Eko® panty liners recommended for?
They are ideal for anyone seeking daily protection – from light discharge, the beginning or end of menstruation, sweat, or as additional protection alongside other menstrual products. Suitable for all age groups, including teenagers.

4. Are Femi.Eko® panty liners hypoallergenic?
Yes! All Femi.Eko® panty liners are microbiologically, gynecologically, and dermatologically tested, and their pH is neutral. They are gentle and suitable even for people with sensitive skin or allergies.

5. What are plant-based biopolymers?
Biopolymers are materials derived from natural sources, such as corn starch, sugarcane, or other plants. They are used to make Femi.Eko® products water-resistant without using conventional plastic. They are biodegradable and compostable – breaking down quickly without polluting the environment.

6. Do Femi.Eko® products contain plastic that comes into contact with the skin?
No, no part of Femi.Eko® products contains plastic that comes into contact with the skin. All products are made exclusively from GOTS certified organic cotton and natural materials. Only plant-based biopolymers are used for water resistance – safe and skin-friendly.

7. Are Femi.Eko® panty liners biodegradable?
Yes! Both the product and the packaging are biodegradable and compostable – completely breaking down within 12–24 months without microplastic residues.

8. Can panty liners be used during menstruation?
Yes, but only for very light bleeding – at the beginning or end of menstruation – or as additional protection alongside other products (menstrual cup, disc, or tampon). For heavier bleeding, Femi.Eko® sanitary pads are recommended.

9. Can they be used daily without any risk?
Yes, they are designed for daily use without irritating the skin or disrupting vaginal flora – due to natural materials and the absence of chemicals.

10. How to dispose of used Femi.Eko® panty liners?
They can be disposed of with household waste or composted. Never flush them down the toilet! They are biodegradable and do not pollute the environment.
