1. What is the "CottonLock™" technology used in "Femi.Eko®" tampons?
"CottonLock™" is a special membrane made from organic cotton that surrounds the absorbent core of the tampon. It keeps the fibers compact and prevents them from coming loose during use. This reduces the risk of cotton residue remaining in the body, and protects against irritation, infection, and toxic shock syndrome (TSS). With "CottonLock™", you ensure safety, cleanliness, and comfort every time you use it.

2. Why choose an organic tampon over a conventional one?
An organic tampon like "Femi.Eko®" is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton – free of plastic, perfumes, pesticides, or synthetic fibers. Conventional tampons can contain up to 90% plastic and chemicals that can harm intimate health and vaginal flora.

By choosing an organic tampon, you:
- avoid irritation, allergies, and hormonal imbalances;
- protect yourself from fiber shedding (tested with a strip), reducing the risk of infections and TSS;
- choose a safe solution – both for you and the environment.

3. How do "Femi.Eko®" tampons reduce the risk of TSS?
"Femi.Eko®" uses only natural fibers – free of plastic, perfumes, or chemical additives. "CottonLock™" technology prevents fibers from shedding during use. The products are microbiologically, gynecologically, and dermatologically tested. Changing the tampon every 4 hours reduces the risk of TSS.

4. How to choose the right tampon?
Choose the lowest absorbency required:
- Low absorbency: for the beginning or end of menstruation;
- Regular: for moderate to heavy bleeding.

Never use a super absorbent tampon just to change it less frequently – this increases the risk of TSS. Safety depends on choosing the right product and changing it every 4 hours.
